HOW THE YOUTH-LED NGO BHENT IS CREATING A MAJOR IMPACT WITHIN THE SOCIETY

The goverment is reponsible for managing many aspects of the country, thus the goverment body isn't capable of capturing the full human aspects of life.  That's why our Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) Bhent comes in place, to grant support and  monetary facilitates to the underprivileged children, youngsters and burdened classes of the society.

Several schemes have been instituted to ensure that underprivileged children receive a solid educational base including 'Samagra Shiksha' and 'Strengthening for Providing Quality Education in Madrassas' (SPQEM).

While the schemes are in place, and are excellent on paper, the results tell a different story. And, when it comes to quality education, there is an extreme shortage of qualified and dedicated teachers. Evidently, nothing extraordinary can be expected from students.

In keeping with the report of the National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO), 32 million children aged up to thirteen years have not been to school, the majority of them belonging to the socially disadvantaged class (2014). Particularly once we see the statistics of community and villages, it might be over the official numbers as a result of most of them have never been reported. 

Bhent started with a youth led team jam-packed with students in Dehradun, with an idea of doing something for the marginalized children and giving them the Basic education that they need, so that no kids will be cut off from education. Our NGO gets funding from varied sources and folks from everywhere India. These fundings helps in scaling the organization and serving to kids with their education, care and environmental rights activities.

These are various sectors the organisation is functioning on : 

Education : Education is an important component of everyone' life, nevertheless still there are several children who don't have any education. Here many students and Teachers across India are volunteering in the organization to grant education facilities to the kids.

Healthcare : Healthcare and free medical facilities and promoting health rights, health awareness programs, managing health finances and administration is the main goal of the organization.

Environment & Nature : Our mission is to conserve nature and scale back the strain in human life. Promoting environmental rights, animal care, sustainable environment, carbon negative activities and peace are in the primary list of our organization, through our social media handles. Spreading awareness and peace is our goal.

Upcoming projects that we are working on:

Women Empowerment : The women's are the backbone of our society, yet they are not being paid according to their true calibre. We are going to educate the women's in rural areas to enhance their skills by teaching them tailoring and other skills so they can stand on their feet and live with pride & dignity within the society.

Animal Care Shelter : Animals are known as a true friend of humans, However there are many horrible incidents taking place with the animals. On the streets they feel unsafe and there is nobody to help them. That's why we decided to stand out to help animals by providing them shelter facilities and intensive medical care.

It is just the beginning of something big the time can solely say what will life bring forward for our organisation.

गुरु तेग बहादुर - सिखों के नौवें गुरु

 "मानव अधिकारों की रक्षा हेतु दिया उच्च बलिदान,  ऐसे थे गुरु तेग बहादुर, बने सिखों की पहचान।" भारत अनेक ऐतिहासिक योद्धाओं और वीरों की जन्म भूमि है। इन्ही योद्धाओं मे से एक थे सिखों के नौवें गुरु, गुरु तेग बहादुर जी। उन्होंने धर्म, मानवीय मूल्यों, आदर्शों और सिद्धांतों की रक्षा के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दे दी। मानवता की रक्षा हेतु इन्होंने अपने शीश को भी कुर्बान कर दिया। गुरु तेग बहादुर, गुरु हरगोविंद साहिब जी के सबसे छोटे पुत्र थे। उनका जन्म सन् 1621 मे 1 अप्रैल को (बैसाख कृष्ण पंचमी) पंजाब, अमृतसर में हुआ था। उनकी माता का नाम माता नानकी जी था। जन्म के समय उनका नाम त्यागमल रखा गया था। गुरु तेग बहादुर जी बचपन से ही संत स्वरूप, अडोल चित, गंभीर और निर्भय स्वभाव के मालिक थे, वे कई -कई घंटे भक्ति में लीन रहते थे। उन्होंने बचपन में भाई गुरदास से हिंदी, गुरुमुखी, संस्कृत और भारतीय धार्मिक दर्शन सीखा, साथ ही तीरंदाजी और घुड़सवारी बाबा बुद्धा जी से सीखी। इनके पिता गुरु हरगोविंद साहिब जी ने इन्हें तलवारबाजी सिखाई। वे एक साहसी युवक के रूप में बड़े हुए। केवल 13 वर्ष के बालक ने अपने पित...
